Fleur Graphic is a small web site design/maintenance, graphic arts and photography company. It is run and owned by me, Moriah Pierce. Although the company itself is very small and young, I am hoping to see it grow. I have been involved with the arts in many forms for my whole life, but only recently have been able to take it from a part time hobby to a business.

I got started in art with the typical drawing and painting, and eventually branched out into arts and crafts like scrap booking, jewelry and sculpture. Computers were introduced to me by my grandfather, where my favorites were Tetris and Paint (thanks for the lefty mousing skills Gimpa). In high school, the news paper sparked an interest in photography. It didn't take long for me to become the Photo/Graphics Editor, and the first one to get class credits for doing it.

I kept all those hobbies up through the years, and when I got to college I had an opportunity to learn the basics of web design and hone my photoshop skills. There, I ended up designing and running three or so web sites.

Like all good stories, someone's mother has to get involved, so that's where my mom comes in. After several years with out any web action, and her asking for a site for her band, she gave me a little more motivation to pick up the hobby again. She passed my name along to the owner of Café Forté. During that same week the principal at my school had deemed me the new school web master.
